Tanping Wang

Tanping Wang is a Senior Director of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Development at Visa, with a strong background in big data and cloud service development from a previous role as Program Director at IBM. Additionally, Tanping Wang has contributed to the open source community as an Apache Hadoop Committer at The Apache Software Foundation. Experience includes serving as a Technical Lead for Big Data and Data Warehouse Development at Yahoo! and as a Software Engineer for IPTV at Microsoft. Tanping Wang holds a Ph.D. Candidate status in Computer Science from William & Mary and is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at The George Washington University.
