Alessandro S. Massaro

Alessandro S. Massaro is a seasoned professional in computer vision and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Computer Vision and AI Engineer at Visiopharm since September 2018, where responsibilities include algorithm development. Prior to this role, Alessandro was associated with DTU Space, National Space Institute from June 2009 to August 2018, undertaking positions such as Research Development Engineer, Ph.D. student, and engineer. Alessandro also gained research experience as a Guest Researcher at NASA Ames Research Center in early 2013. Educational credentials include a PhD in Space Technology with a focus on Autonomous Vision-Based Spacecraft Navigation and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering specializing in Space Technology, both obtained from the Technical University of Denmark.
