Jimi Vaubien

Jimi Vaubien has been a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Visium since August 2019. Prior to that, they were a Research Intern at NEC Laboratories America, Inc. from February 2019 to August 2019, where they worked on defect detection on images with small datasets. Jimi also worked as a back-end/front-end developer at Vlynt from November 2017 to September 2018, where they developed the backend and website of the Vlynt start-up and provided advice (part time job). Some data visualization was implemented as a map using D3.js. Jimi also worked as a machine learning research intern at Schlumberger from July 2017 to October 2017.

Jimi Vaubien has a Master's degree in Data Science from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), a Bachelor's degree in Communication Systems from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), and a Baccalauréat in Sciences from Lycée Saint François. Jimi has also completed certification courses in Build Better Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) from Coursera and in Bachelor's degree in Communication Systems and Master of Science MSc in Data Science from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne).
