Matthew van Bommel

Matthew van Bommel has a varied work experience. Matthew began their career in 2007 as a Tennis Instructor for the Town of Antigonish. In 2012, they were a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Resident Assistant at Acadia University. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University. In 2017, they were a Basketball Analytics Intern at the Philadelphia 76ers and a Senior Analyst and Analyst in Basketball Operations at the Sacramento Kings. Currently, they are a Machine Learning Engineer at Zelus Analytics.

Matthew van Bommel obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics from Simon Fraser University between 2015 and 2017. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Statistics from Acadia University from 2011 to 2015.
