Simon Marsden

Simon Marsden has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Simon is currently the Director of Learning and Development at Vista, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, Simon worked as a Freelance Consultant from November 2022 to May 2023.

Simon's longest tenure was at PwC, where they held multiple roles over the course of 21 years. Simon started as an Associate in the Audit, Financial Services department in September 2001 and steadily rose through the ranks. Simon became a Senior Associate, Manager, and eventually Senior Manager in the Deals, Business Recovery division, where they worked from August 2003 to August 2012. From August 2012 to November 2013, Simon served as a Senior Manager in the People Projects Team. Simon then transitioned to the role of L&D Firmwide Curriculum Leader from May 2013 to February 2017 and finally became the Head of Learning Design from February 2017 to October 2022.

Prior to their time at PwC, Simon served as an Officer in the Royal Navy from October 2006 to May 2017.

Simon Marsden received a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Exeter, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Simon also obtained additional certifications, including Digital Acumen from PwC in August 2020, and a Fellow certification from The LPI (Learning and Performance Institute) in June 2023.
