Christian de Ponte

Christian De Ponte has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Christian started their career at ICON Software in 1996, where they worked as the General Manager for Europe and later as the General Manager for Latin & South America. In these roles, they were responsible for sales, operations, and accounts, and successfully expanded the company's presence in multiple countries.

After their time at ICON Software, Christian served as the Business Development Director at Clarity Commerce Solutions Plc. Christian led sales and marketing activities across international divisions, developing product sales collateral and marketing materials.

Christian also worked at E3 Property as the Director of Business Development, where they restructured the sales and marketing organization and implemented a Salesforce CRM solution to enhance productivity and revenue.

Christian further gained experience as the Programme Manager at HP Enterprise Services, leading the development of a consumer travel enterprise platform for the hotel industry. Christian presented the solution roadmap to senior stakeholders and planned the 5-year delivery program.

Additionally, they held positions at Embody Wellness, Dimension Data, Cosmos Tours, and Cosmos Holidays, where they took on various management and directorial roles, overseeing business operations and implementing strategic initiatives.

Currently, Christian is working at Vista as the Head of Product Compliance for EMEA, where they ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Christian previously served as the Head of Customer Success EMEA - Enterprise and as a Programme Manager at the same company.

Christian De Ponte attended The University of Salford from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in French & Hispanic Studies. Christian later pursued additional certifications in various fields, including APMG Change Management and Transformational Management & Business Change from The Knowledge Academy in 2017. Christian also obtained certifications in Program Management and Project Management from ILX Group in 2014. Christian has additional certifications in Change Management, PRINCE2, and MSP from APMG International. Christian holds a DELE C1 Proficiency certification in Spanish as a Foreign Language from Instituto Cervantes, and a Pragmatic Marketing Certified Level III (PMC-III) certification from Pragmatic Marketing.
