Bernhard Maag

Bernhard Maag has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bernhard currently holds the position of Head of Business Development and M&A at Vista Gruppe, the leading ophthalmological network in Switzerland. Prior to this, they worked at Novartis, where they held multiple roles in the ophthalmology division, including Head of Ophthalmology and National Sales Manager. Bernhard also had experience as a Product Manager, Business Planning & Analysis Manager, Finance and BD&L Manager, and F&A Compliance Manager at Novartis. Before joining Novartis, Bernhard worked at Ernst&Young as a Manager, with a brief transfer to Peru.

Bernhard Maag attended the University of Zurich from 1999 to 2001, but did not complete a degree. Bernhard went on to pursue a Master of Science in Business Administration from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne from 2001 to 2003. In 2005, they obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) degree from the University of Zurich. Bernhard Maag is currently attending CFA and has passed the first of three levels.
