Jim Cooney

Jim Cooney is an experienced executive coach and founder of Cooney and Associates, a retained executive search firm focused on CEO and C-Level executive searches. With a career spanning several decades, Cooney has held key roles such as Executive Coach at Vistage Worldwide and Senior Associate at Heidrick & Struggles, where expertise in executive recruitment was cultivated. Additionally, Cooney served as a Best Practice Group Chair, enhancing coaching skills among peers in multiple states. Cooney's early career included significant marketing roles at Texas International Airlines and American Airlines, as well as leadership positions in the United States Marine Corps. Cooney holds an MBA in Marketing from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in History from the College of the Holy Cross.
