Joao Eric Oliveira

Joao Eric Oliveira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Currently serving as DevOps Manager at Vitat since May 2022, Joao has led several initiatives, including on-premise migrations to AWS Cloud and achieving a 45% reduction in AWS costs for 2023/2024. Prior roles include DevOps Engineer at both Vitat and SAS Education Platform, where Joao contributed to infrastructure development and automated CI/CD processes. A solid technical foundation is highlighted by proficiency in tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, and AWS, alongside significant achievements in implementing blue/green deployments and migrating to Kubernetes without downtime.
