Hamish Russell

Hamish Russell has a diverse work experience spanning from 2004 to the present. Hamish currently holds the position of Strategic Transformation Manager at Vivup since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Transformation Project Manager at the same company from October 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Vivup, Hamish worked at Sainsbury's as an Operations Manager - B2B Food from July 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within their B2B proposition. Hamish managed client relationships and education, from inception to BAU, engaging all levels from store to director levels. Hamish also drove development and change to enhance the customer proposition and operational processes.

From November 2019 to July 2020, Hamish served as an Operations Manager for B2B General Merchandise at Sainsbury's Argos. Prior to that, they worked at Argos for Business, where they held various roles including Business Development Manager from January 2018 to November 2019. In this position, they drove change and development of the B2B proposition in line with the company's strategy. Hamish led projects, programs, and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver new business strategies and exceptional services to customers. Hamish also served as the Store Programme Manager and Business Centre Customer Service Manager at Argos for Business.

Starting from 2006, Hamish worked at Home Retail Group PLC as a Customer Service Manager. Hamish held this position multiple times, starting from October 2006 to July 2009, then from July 2009 to August 2013, and finally from July 2013 to January 2017. In this role, they inspired, developed, and managed a team to achieve great customer service. Hamish also delivered outstanding store standards and company KPIs and targets.

Before entering the professional workforce, Hamish was a student at the University for the Creative Arts from 2005 to 2009. Hamish also gained experience at Argos as a Sales Support Manager and Team Leader & Customer Advisor from 2004 to 2006.

Hamish Russell's education history begins in 1999 when they attended Wiltshire College and pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Interior Design. Hamish completed their degree in 2001. Afterward, from 2001 to 2004, they enrolled at the University for the Creative Arts, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Interior Design. Following their bachelor's degree, Hamish Russell continued their education at the same university and completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Interior Design & Architecture from 2005 to 2009.
