Kelly Jackson

Kelly Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Kelly is currently the Legal and Compliance Director at Vivup since January 2023. Prior to this, Kelly held the role of Head of Compliance - Consumer Finance at ao.com from February 2019 to November 2022. Kelly was responsible for designing and implementing a governance structure and framework for SM&CR, maintaining relationships with the FCA, and chairing compliance governance meetings. Before ao.com, Kelly worked as the UK Head of Compliance at Clearpay (Afterpay Ltd) from August 2018 to January 2019. During this time, they designed and implemented the governance structure, wrote compliance policies, and registered Clearpay with regulatory bodies. From December 2014 to July 2018, Kelly worked at ThinkSmart Limited as the Head of Compliance, where they built their career from a call centre operative to various roles, including Payouts Team Leader, Project Manager, and Operations Manager. Kelly implemented GDPR, various regulatory requirements, and designed a full governance structure for the company. Kelly's work experience also includes a long tenure at RentSmart Ltd. from 2003 to 2018, where they held roles such as General Overview, UK Head of Credit, Compliance, and Projects, and Early Career. In these roles, they were involved in process design, credit and compliance management, and project implementation. Kelly's earlier work experience includes roles at Airtours as a Sales Representative and at Royal Mail as a Customer Service Representative.

Kelly Jackson earned a Bachelor's degree in Business with Law from The University of Salford from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, they studied A Levels in Law at Ashton Sixth Form College. Additionally, Kelly has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including a Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Governance Risk and Compliance from the International Compliance Association in April 2023, a Certified Data Protection Officer certification from PECB in March 2018, an APMP certification from the Association for Project Managers in July 2011, and a PRINCE2™ Foundation and Practitioner Certification Training from PRINCE2.com in September 2008. Kelly also became an ICA Fellow Member of the International Compliance Association in April 2023.
