Chad O'Connor

Chad O'Connor has over 25 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Research Pharmacologist at Abbott Laboratories from 1995 to 2001. Chad then joined Merck as a Senior Professional Representative from 2001 to 2006. In 2007, Chad joined Sg2 as a Vice President, where they played a crucial role in overseeing the positioning and development of Sg2's EDGE Analytics Platform. Chad also worked closely with system clientele to help organizations understand data reports and access additional resources. In 2021, they joined Vizient, Inc as a Vice President, first leading the Transformation Management Office and later transitioning to the role of Vice President of Operations and Quality. In their current position, they guide the strategic direction of Operations & Quality analytics solutions, supports the sales process, and launches new offerings and enhancements.

Chad O'Connor holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed from 1989 to 1993. Chad also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology at the same university, completed from 1993 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Chad has obtained several certifications in the field of AI from Google Cloud Skills Boost, such as "Generative AI Fundamentals," "Introduction to Generative AI," "Introduction to Large Language Models," "Introduction to Responsible AI," and "Responsible AI: Applying AI Principles" in the year 2024.
