Eric Burch, RN, MBA, FACHE has a diverse work experience in various healthcare organizations. Eric started their career as a Critical Care Nurse Manager at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, where they worked from 1998 to 2002. Eric then served as the Director of Nursing from 2002 to 2005 and later as the Chief Nursing Officer from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Eric worked as the Chief Operating Officer at the same institution.
After that, Eric joined Hillcrest Medical Center as the Chief Operating Officer and served from 2008 to 2011. Eric then moved on to become the Chief Operating Officer at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma for a brief period from June 2012 to October 2012.
From 2012 to 2014, Eric worked at MedAssets as a Senior WFS Consultant and later as the Director of Clinical Consulting. Eric joined Vizient, Inc in October 2012 as the Executive Principal of Operations and Workforce Services, where they currently provide executive oversight for a team responsible for enhancing care delivery efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. Eric also served as the Vice President of Clinical Consulting Services- Assoc Principal at Vizient from 2014 to 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they held the position of Principal of Operations and Quality at Vizient.
In addition to their work in healthcare organizations, Eric has also worked as an Adjunct Nursing Faculty at the University of Oklahoma from 2003 to 2006. Eric holds an RN license, an MBA degree, and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Eric Burch, RN, MBA, FACHE holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which was obtained from the University of Phoenix in 2002. Eric also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, completed at the University of Central Missouri from 1989 to 1993.
