Carrie Lorenz

Carrie Lorenz has extensive work experience as a software engineer, with a current position as a Staff Software Engineer at VIZIO since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Engineer at VIZIO from August 2021. Before joining VIZIO, Carrie worked as a Senior Software Engineer at A2Z Sync from August 2019 to August 2021. Carrie also had a long tenure at the University of Denver, starting in 2003, where they served as a Senior Educational Java Developer. In this role, they focused on application development using various technologies such as Java, PHP, Spring Boot, Laravel, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, Eloquent, Oracle, MySQL, Thymeleaf, Blade, Bootstrap, Ajax, JavaScript, and jQuery. Carrie Lorenz completed their Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Mathematics with an emphasis on Computer Science from Colorado College, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
