Michell Tateoka

Michell Tateoka has a strong background in UX and UI design, with experience in various roles and companies. They are currently working as a Senior Mobile Product Designer at VIZIO since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Charter Communications from 2014 to 2021, starting as a Jr. Analyst in User Experience Design and progressing to a UX Designer and Sr. Analyst. During their time at Charter Communications, they designed the user experience and layout for the Spectrum TV Application used by 1.57 million subscribers. Before Charter Communications, Michell worked as a UI/UX Designer at the Globus family of brands from 2012 to 2014, where they collaborated with design teams and developers to build and maintain websites. They also have experience as a Freelance Designer and as a Web Designer and Mobile Developer at Track the Tag, where they designed and developed mobile websites for various clients. They began their career as an Intern at Foils + Dies Vintage Pressworks and Working with Artists before working as an Editorial Assistant at Hammer & Pen Productions.

Michell Tateoka began their education in 2004 at Rock Canyon High School, where they stayed until 2008. Michell then proceeded to Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a focus on Communications Design.
