Doug Gordon

Doug Gordon has extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership, currently serving at VMS Software since August 2014, focusing on startup operations and product support. Previously, Doug worked at NetApp as a Member of Technical Staff, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining a proprietary operating system based on FreeBSD. Prior volunteer roles include facilitating groups at Acton Networkers and Westford Job Seekers. Doug's earlier experience at HP spanned several roles, including Systems/Software Engineer VI, where contributions involved VMS clustering technology and networked storage solutions. Doug began a career in the early 1980s at arcon, supporting crash simulations for the National Traffic and Highway Safety Office. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, earned between 1978 and 1982.
