Edison Mukadah has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Edison started their career as a Software Engineer at OpenVoice in 2008, focusing on VoIP and J.E.E development. Edison then joined BBD in 2009 as a Software Engineer, where they gained experience in automation, load testing, and performance monitoring for a major financial institution. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at BBD, taking on various responsibilities such as software architecture, development, and leading interdisciplinary agile teams. In 2016, they were promoted to Lead Software Engineer at BBD, where they provided technical guidance and leadership for multiple software engineering teams.

In 2020, Edison joined Tasktop as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead, where they worked on full-stack software engineering and was responsible for resolving database performance issues and implementing JVM and operating system tuning. Edison also served as a Cloud Lead, contributing to the setup of processes and the implementation of the company's cloud roadmap.

In 2022, they moved to Ada as a Staff Cloud & DevOps Engineer, and in 2023, they transitioned to Voiceflow as a Staff Software Engineer specializing in infrastructure. Edison Mukadah's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at the University of Fort Hare. Edison pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics. Edison completed their studies in 2006.

In 2007, Edison attended Rhodes University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computer Science.

Throughout their career, Edison has also obtained various certifications. In November 2012, they earned the Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle. Edison then obtained the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Database Administration certification from Microsoft in July 2013. In August 2013, they achieved the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Database Developer certification. In February 2014, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: Business Intelligence (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS) certification.

Continuing their journey, Edison became a Microsoft Certified C# Developer in December 2014. In February 2015, they completed the Authentic Leader Manager program at Maurice Kerrigan Africa. Subsequently, they obtained multiple certifications from Oracle: Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Web Services Developer in March 2015, followed by Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Persistence API Developer, Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Enterprise JavaBeans Developer, and Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Web Component Developer in 2016.

Edison's certifications continued to expand as they earned the Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1) certification from Scrum.org in October 2017. Edison then became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in April 2018. Adding to their skill set, they obtained the Certified Linux Engineer (LFCE) certification from the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) in June 2019.

In the latter part of 2019, Edison obtained several certifications, including the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in October 2019, the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2019, and the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect (1Z0-807) certification from Oracle in November 2019.
