Yoyo Yang

Yoyo Yang has diverse work experience in various roles within the fields of machine learning, data science, and data analysis.

Starting in November 2013, Yoyo worked at INVISTA as a Data Analyst. In this role, Yoyo was part of a strategy team and contributed to developing commercial strategies for large-scale projects. Yoyo's key contributions included developing a market-based pricing model and leading database system automation tasks using SQL.

In February 2017, Yoyo joined goeasy Ltd. as a Data Analyst. Here, Yoyo worked for over a year, until May 2018, analyzing data.

Moving to Toromont Cat in August 2019, Yoyo began as a Data Scientist and worked on projects until July 2020. Yoyo was then promoted to Senior Data Scientist for a period of two years, from August 2020 to February 2022. Finally, Yoyo became the Data Science Tech Lead from February 2022 to March 2023.

Currently, Yoyo holds the position of Machine Learning Engineer at Voiceflow, starting in April 2023.

Yoyo Yang earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China from 2007 to 2011. Following that, Yoyo pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Queen's University from 2016 to 2017. Later, Yoyo continued their education at Queen's University and completed a Master's degree in Analytics from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, Yoyo obtained a certification in Full Stack Web Development from Lighthouse Labs in October 2022.
