Shreelaxmi Khatagalli

Shreelaxmi Khatagalli has a diverse work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and engineering. In 2016, they completed an internship at Embedded Systems Design and Manufacturing, where they gained practical knowledge in office automation and IoT. Shreelaxmi'sresponsibilities included sensor and actuator utilization, microcontroller programming, and server setup and maintenance.

After their internship, Shreelaxmi joined Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions as an Associate Software Engineer in 2017. Shreelaxmi focused on developing AUTOSAR compliant device drivers for intra vehicular communication protocols, such as CAN, LIN, and SPI. Additionally, they were responsible for requirement analysis, testing, validation, software industrialization, integration, and delivery to customers. Shreelaxmi also completed an internship at the same company in the same year.

In 2019, Shreelaxmi worked as a Student Research Assistant at Cerence Inc., where they contributed to the Next Generation Multimodal Automotive UI and UX design. Shreelaxmi'stasks involved multisensory data fusion, including eye tracking, speech, and gesture recognition.

From 2020 to 2021, Shreelaxmi served as a Master Thesis Student at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI). Shreelaxmi'sthesis, titled "Speech and pointing gesture based multimodal interaction for In Car applications," focused on developing a rule-based algorithm for object reference resolution and disambiguation in an In-Car interaction scenario. The queries were framed using a convenient combination of natural speech and pointing gestures, with responses provided in speech utterances.

In 2021, Shreelaxmi held a position as a Junior Dialog Engineer at paragon semvox GmbH, where they gained practical experience in dialog engineering.

Shreelaxmi is currently working as a Senior NLP Engineer at VOICEplug, starting in December 2021.

Shreelaxmi Khatagalli completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Instrumentation Technology Engineering from B V B College of Engg. & Technology, HUBLI. This course spanned from 2013 to 2017. Subsequently, Shreelaxmi pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes, which lasted from 2018 to 2021.
