Voices For Florida
Founded in 1976, Voices for Florida is a statewide non-profit organization that makes hope happen. We are an affiliate of American Children’s Campaign, Florida’s leading nonpartisan child advocacy organization. Together, we have a long history of teaming with others to create transformational change for vulnerable children. We do this by advancing innovative service models based on promising practices and insight from people most impacted. Our latest collaboration, is the Open Doors Outreach Network, providing 24/7/365 care and treatment to sex trafficked children and young adults throughout several Florida regions. Florida is a hot spot for human trafficking, ranking 3rd in the nation for reports to the national hotline. As the backbone organization to Open Doors Outreach Network, Voices for Florida partners contractually with established regional service providers focused on serving sex trafficked children and young adults; these providers each employee a team of survivor mentors, clinicians, and advocates. Voices also mobilizes resources to plug service gaps, advances training and education, and monitors evaluation and outcome measures to ensure successful outcomes for victims. Our strong network of relationships with local partners, funders, and government agencies is essential to our positive impact with victims and survivors. Our mission is to create the change for complex social problems through research, innovation and collaboration. Our vision is children's futures are as limitless as their dreams. We invite you to join us!
