Jean-Christophe Drai

Jean-Christophe Drai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jean-Christophe started their career in 1997 as the Indirect Sales Network Development & Management and Marketing Manager at Econophone Inc. Jean-Christophe then worked as the Department Manager at Decathlon France before becoming the Store Director at Alain Manoukian. In 2001, they joined Banque Populaire du Sud Ouest as an Agency Director specializing in professional banking and financial products. From 2006 to 2013, they served as the Innovation Department Director at Bordeaux Technowest, where they supported innovative start-ups, fundraising, and focused on drones. In 2013, they founded JCPX Ingenierie, where they served as CEO & Co-founder, providing UAV training & services, counter UAV systems, and UAV consulting. In 2017, they joined Flyops France as the International Sales and Marketing Director, gaining expertise in business, commercial, and military aviation. Currently, in 2022, they work at Volocopter GmbH as the Commercial Lead France, leading the introduction of urban air mobility services.

Jean-Christophe Drai obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in management-finance-direction entreprise from Excelia between 1993 and 1997. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including leadership principles from HarvardX, a commercial drone license from LinkedIn, a drone pilot certification from Direction Generale de l'Aviation Civile, and training certificates in various fields such as sales team management, airport security awareness, and transportation of dangerous goods by air. Jean-Christophe also completed studies at the College of High Studies in Sustainable Development (CHEDD) in 2016.
