About the role:

As the VP of Product Marketing, you will be at the epicenter of Product innovation, and the driving force behind shaping and communicating our product strategy to the world.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves getting really close to our prospects and customers, translating intricate technical concepts into compelling messages, conceptualizing and driving successful product launches, and staying ahead of market trends. Your accountabilities extend to collaborating on comprehensive Go-to-Market strategies, crafting and articulating our global value proposition, and tailoring it to our target customers—all in alignment with our overarching vision of ‘real-time payments everywhere’.

This is a global role in the truest sense—when we say ‘everywhere,’ we mean it. The depth of our product offerings is complemented by our expansive geographic achieve.

It may be overwhelming at times, but you won’t embark on this journey alone. Our Product team will immerse you in the universe of our products’ capabilities. Our Commercial team will share invaluable audience and competitor insights, while the Strategy team will provide the context and reasoning behind our initiatives. And your Marketing team colleagues will help create impactful campaigns, collaterals, and assets.

Your influence will extend across the organization, and you'll have the opportunity to shape Volt’s narrative and have a direct impact on how the world perceives our capabilities.

What the role involves:

  • Strategy:
  • Evaluate existing Product stack, identify opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate market trends, technological developments, competitor activity, and customer needs to create a product marketing strategy, aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Serve as the driving force behind product innovation, support new product launches, ensuring that our offerings are clear, compelling and competitive.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into a set of compelling and accessible messages for diverse audiences.
  • Develop Go-to-Market strategies that resonate globally, crafting and articulating our value proposition for target customers in key markets.
  • Market Insights:
  • Gather and leverage valuable customer insights for a deep awareness of audience needs and preferences.
  • Utilize customer feedback to refine and enhance product messaging, ensuring it aligns with the evolving expectations of our diverse customer base.
  • Managing Product Launches:
  • Conceptualize and drive successful product launches, orchestrating end-to-end go-to-market plans across teams to achieve successful market entry
  • Sales enablement:
  • Support the creation of strong and persuasive sales collaterals, including product sheets and pitch decks, that underscore our product benefits and features
  • Establish communication channels to keep our customers engaged and informed about our product updates and initiativesRequirements: Payments are what you live and breathe. You follow Fintech news and enjoy listening to podcasts. You care about technologies in other parts of the world and know the difference in the user experience between India’s UPI, Brazil’s Pix and UK Open Banking.
