Yigitcan Unludag

Yigitcan Unludag has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and roles. Yigitcan is currently a Senior Vice President of Operations at Voltyx, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Electric Power Systems, where they held multiple roles including Vice President, Mid Atlantic Regional Director, Operations Manager, Relay Commissioning Engineer, and Intern. In these roles, Yigitcan was responsible for various tasks including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance work for different energy companies. Yigitcan also gained strong knowledge of micro-processor and electromechanical relays, performed functional testing on substation components, and worked closely with senior engineers. Before joining Electric Power Systems, Yigitcan worked as a Research Assistant at Yubam Kocaeli University and as a Recent Graduate at North Carolina State University.

Yigitcan Unludag attended Kocaeli University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysical Engineering. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University from 2009 to 2011. Yigitcan continued their education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science degree in Electric Power Systems Engineering from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Yigitcan has not obtained any certifications, including Arc Flash, First Aid/CPR, Human Performance, NERC/CIP, and OSHA 10.
