Steve Woodard

Steve Woodard currently serves as the Vice President of Community Engagement at Volunteers of America Western Washington, focusing on service line creation and expansion in underserved areas. Additionally, Woodard is a City Council Member for the City of Mountlake Terrace, re-elected in 2021. Previous roles include various leadership positions at Edmonds Community College, where responsibilities encompassed oversight of student services aimed at retention and completion. Woodard has also contributed to educational initiatives in Spain as a Trainer of Trainers, directed programs at the University of Washington, and served as an academic advisor at California Polytechnic State University. Woodard holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy from the University of Washington and advanced degrees from California Polytechnic State University.
