Amy Michaels currently serves as the Land Development Manager for the County of Volusia, where responsibilities include administering the Land Development Code and managing land development applications and plans. Previously, in various roles at Orange County Government, Amy engaged in tenant services research and coordinated the County's Vision 2050 plan as Chief Planner. Amy's extensive experience includes positions as Principal Planner for the City of North Las Vegas and multiple roles in the City of Henderson, where project management, planning, and community engagement were key responsibilities. With a solid foundation in planning and public service initiated during early roles, including a project coordinator and planner positions in several counties, Amy holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Central Florida.
