Karim Ammor

Karim Ammor has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Karim currently works at Voodoo as the Head of Platform Engineering since September 2021. Before that, they served as an Engineering Manager at Voodoo from December 2020 to September 2021. In 2022, Karim became a shareholder at Time for the Planet, a non-profit organization focused on addressing climate change. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Enablon as an Engineering Manager, overseeing three teams and approximately 15 direct reports. Prior to that, Karim held the position of Tech Lead back-end at Meetic from 2015 to 2017, where they were responsible for defining top-level architecture and redesigning various micro-services. Karim also served as a Web Developer at Meetic from 2012 to 2015, contributing to the migration to a service-oriented architecture and maintaining websites. Karim started their career as a Software Engineer at Bank Al-Maghrib in 2007. Before joining Meetic, they worked as a Web Developer at Le Point from 2008 to 2012, handling the development and management of event websites and internal applications.

Karim Ammor began their education in 2004 at EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique, where they pursued a degree in an undisclosed field of study. Karim completed their studies at EPITA in 2007. In 2008, Karim attended ITIC, where they specialized in web application development and database administration. Karim'sprogram at ITIC lasted until 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Karim Ammor has obtained a number of certifications. In 2011, they completed a PHP training course offered by Zend by Perforce. More recently, in 2018, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level certification from the Comité Français des Tests Logiciels.
