VOX Global, a bipartisan strategic communications firm that combines the intensity and agility of a political campaign with the experience of working for some of the most well-known companies and organizations in the world, is accepting applications for our Public Affairs fellowship.
The fellowship will start in February and is a paid, full-time, four-month position based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our ideal applicants are talented recent graduates available full-time with the necessary skills to assist our team with writing, research, media outreach, social media analytics, and more. Candidates will join us in a hybrid model of working in-person in our Indianapolis office three days a week and remotely two days a week.
Fellows are given a challenging and stimulating work environment and have the opportunity to participate in professional development trainings to grow their skills. High-performing fellows will also be considered for long-term opportunities to continue their careers with VOX Global.
Strong interest in communications, government relations, and issue advocacy is strongly preferred. All candidates should have exceptional attention to detail, strong writing skills, and an ability to learn new topics quickly.
VOX Global believes a diverse team brings a wider range of personal and professional experiences and perspectives. We recognize that diversity and inclusion benefit our firm, our clients, and the communities in which we work and live. To that end, we strongly encourage applications from women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
While no two days look the same, regular fellowship assignments include research, media sweeps, media outreach, and drafting content for a variety of mediums.
Fellows can expect to work closely with all levels of the organization on a variety of projects for clients in a diverse range of industries. They will refine their writing and research skills and be trained on a variety of industry tools.
The fellowship will run for approximately four months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance. Exact start date and end date will be determined in the final stages of the interview process.
