Jeremy Derman

Jeremy Derman has extensive work experience in legal and financial roles. Jeremy is currently working as a Vice President, Counsel at Voya Investment Management, where they focus on private funds and alternative investments. Prior to this, Jeremy worked as Counsel at Putnam Investments and as an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. Jeremy also gained experience as a Tax Intern at Deloitte Tax LLP. Earlier in their career, Jeremy held various roles at Suffolk University Law Review, Massachusetts Trial Court, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and State Street. At State Street, they served as a Senior Associate and was responsible for private equity and hedge fund financial statement preparation. Overall, Jeremy's work experience demonstrates their expertise in the legal and financial sectors.

Jeremy Derman obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Suffolk University Law School from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics from Miami University from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, Jeremy also studied Economics of the EU, International Business, and Business Spanish at IES Barcelona. In terms of certifications, Jeremy was admitted to practice in New York by the Appellate Division, First Department in 2015, and in Massachusetts by the Board of Bar Overseers in 2014. Jeremy also holds a Yellow Belt in Legal Lean Sigma from the Legal Lean Sigma Institute, obtained in 2014, and a Diploma Intermedio de Español de los Negocios from IESE Business School, Universidad de Navarra, obtained in 2007.
