Eljas Koistinen

Eljas Koistinen has extensive work experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Eljas started their career in 2002 at Lindström Oy, where they held various roles in key account management and sales representation until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, Eljas worked at Transpoint Oy Ab, first as a sales manager and later as a key account manager. Eljas then joined VR-Group Ltd, VR Logistics, as a key account manager from 2010 to 2017. In 2017, Eljas transitioned to Geodis Wilson Finland Oy, where they served as a sales director for the entire year. Currently, they are employed at VR Transpoint, holding various leadership positions. From December 2017 to April 2019, Eljas was the sales director for rail logistics at VR Transpoint. Eljas then served as the vice president of production from May 2019 to March 2021. Subsequently, they were promoted to vice president of commercial from April 2021 to May 2022. Currently, Eljas is the senior vice president of logistics at VR Transpoint.

Eljas Koistinen obtained their Executive MBA degree from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development, with a duration from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Seinäjoen AMK, Yrittäjyyden Yksikkö from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. Additionally, in the period from 1994 to 1997, Eljas Koistinen attended Raahen Lukio for their secondary education.
