VRIFY’s AI-powered mineral targeting solution combined with our immersive 3D and 360° presentations represent a paradigm shift in both how this traditional industry operates and how it communicates the results of its efforts.  

VRIFY’s AI targeting tools and interactive presentations are being used by a global community and we are now building the team to take the company to the next level. 

We recently crossed $10mm in ARR and are forecasting organically growing our ARR by an additional 100% in the second half of 2024.

VRIFY is looking for an experienced and strategic Vice President of Marketing to lead the charge through a time of transition.  

For the past five years VRIFY’s primary business has been creating interactive 3D presentations for mineral exploration and mining companies so they can better communicate to their investors and stakeholders the true value of their results.  

In 2023 we were able to execute on a long drawn up plan to develop and deploy an AI model to help companies identify where they should test next to discover additional minerals. This represents a transformational shift in how exploration has historically been conducted, and overnight we’ve transitioned from someone that helps a company communicate its value to a solution that can fundamentally change the value of your business.

Our ARR is currently increasing by more than $1mm a month as a result of organic adoption of our AI targeting product and we want to ensure our company, brand and everything we do helps this growth continue.  

This role demands a creative and strategic marketing leader with a deep understanding of category design who can develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that highlights our AI-enhanced mineral targeting solutions and drives brand recognition, engagement, and growth. The VP of Marketing will work closely with the executive team to align marketing efforts with our business objectives and propel VRIFY to new heights in the industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Category Design

  • Assist in the creation and development of a new market category to teach the world of mineral exploration to abandon the old and embrace the new.
  • Develop a unique point of view that frames a known problem/opportunity and evangelizes a different future, reachable through adoption of VRIFY AI.

Brand Repositioning

  • Develop and implement a compelling brand repositioning strategy that effectively communicates VRIFY's unique value proposition and differentiates us in the market.

  • Lead the creation of a strategic Point of View (POV) narrative that explains our category's existence, significance, and unique approach.

  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, design, messaging and quality across all communications.

Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.

  • Develop and manage content marketing strategies and compelling copy, including website, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, and social media to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  • Plan and execute marketing events such as webinars, trade shows, and industry conferences, coordinating logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up activities.

  • Manage marketing technologies and tools. Ensure marketing processes and workflows are efficient and effective.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Utilize analytics and market research to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of market changes and position VRIFY as an industry leader.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

  • Provide guidance, mentorship and development opportunities for team members.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with the Sales, AI / MT, Product / Engineering, and Client Delivery teams to ensure marketing initiatives support business objectives and drive growth.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, media, and other stakeholders to enhance VRIFY's market presence.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record of successfully repositioning brands and driving significant growth in a B2B technology environment, preferably within the mining or industrial sectors.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in category design, brand repositioning and content creation strategies.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data to make informed decisions.

  • Familiarity with AI and technology solutions within the mining industry is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Mandatory for all applications

  • You must be authorized to work in Canada. Vancouver is our preferred location but we welcome applications from candidates located in other parts of Canada.

Compensation/benefits:

  • $150,000-$200,000 CAD annually, based on experience
