We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for our Devens, MA location.
Job Purpose
As the Senior HR Business Partner at VulcanForms, you will partner with leaders and employees across the company to drive a high performance culture and ensure that VulcanForms is a great place to work for all employees. Being at the forefront of additive manufacturing means that VulcanForms is a company that is innovative and collaborative. Like our company, we are looking for someone with the same characteristics. This role is both tactical and strategic and will build processes, deliver programs and educate clients on performance management, compensation, employee relations and learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our business; be a credible leader and advisor for your clients
- Build out people processes and programs – including onboarding, compensation, performance management, career development, employee relations, and offboarding – that drive a high-performance culture
- Coach and advise all levels of management to build and serve high performing teams
- Partner with business to understand its functional goals and advise on workforce planning, organization design and structure
- Build credibility and trust among employees; resolve employee concerns with empathy and follow-through
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve employee experience and partner with business to develop and implement sustainable solutions
- Support employees on questions regarding benefits, payroll, leave of absences, compensation, employee relations and career development
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in an HRBP or similar HR role, ideally in a high growth environment
- Applied knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and statutes for employment. Thorough understanding and hands-on application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Resourceful, self-motivated with track record of getting things done
- Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
- Strong project management and Excel skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in organizational development and change management is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and advise managers and employees through difficult issues, including performance issues
- Experience providing HR support to both exempt and non-exempt employee populations
