Alicia Proctor

Alicia Proctor has held a variety of roles in the Human Resources and Recruiting field. In 2012, they began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at James Madison University. In this role, they consulted hiring managers in the development of effective, diverse recruiting strategies and served as a Subject Matter Expert for the university's applicant tracking system. Alicia also served as an Onboard Specialist and Human Resources Administrative Assistant. In 2009, Alicia held a Computer Sales and Software Associate role at Follett (JMU Bookstore). In 2011, they interned and worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Rockingham County, VA (Voter Registrar).

In 2020, Alicia began working as a Corporate Recruiter at Atlas Executive Consulting, LLC. In 2021, they joined Russell Tobin as an Associate Manager | Recruiter and also took on a Recruiter role at Datadog via an embedded partnership with Russell Tobin. In this role, they worked directly with client groups to introduce R4R candidates in a direct-hire capacity. Alicia is currently working as a Recruiter at VuMedi, where they are sourcing, screening, and submitting candidates directly to hiring managers and guiding them through the interview and closing process.

Alicia Proctor graduated from James Madison University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration. In 2018, they obtained a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM. In 2020, they obtained an Employing Abilities at Work Certificate from the SHRM Foundation.
