Chantal Kabanda Dusabe has a significant background in education and leadership roles. Chantal currently serves as the Technical Lead at VVOB for the African Centre for School Leadership, providing strategic advice and support. Prior to this, Chantal held various positions such as Project Coordinator at the University of Rwanda-College of Education and Personal Assistant to the Rector at the Former Kigali Institute of Education. Chantal also has a strong educational background, including a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Rwanda-College of Education.

VVOB – education for development is an international organisation with over 40 years’ experience in strengthening the quality of education systems in Africa, Asia and South America in close partnership with ministries of education and their institutions. Research shows that, of all school-based factors, the quality of teaching and school leadership has the biggest impact on learning outcomes of learners. As such, the professional development of teachers and school leaders is VVOB’s primary priority in ensuring quality education for all.
