Alexander Maromaty has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Alexander started their career at CA Technologies in 1986 as a Software Architect, where they worked on developing a graphical report painter using the Java Eclipse platform. This product automated code generation of Easytrieve based 4GL reporting application programs.

In 2005, Alexander joined the US Navy as a U.S. Navy/Marine Corps MARS Afloat Radio Operator, handling phone patches from sailors and marines at sea to the U.S. for health and welfare messages.

From 2008 to 2018, Alexander worked at Rockwell Collins as a Principal Engineer. Alexander played a key role in designing and coding major components of the Amtrak CETC system, which controlled train operations and power distribution from Boston to Washington DC. Alexander also contributed to the development of an Amtrak train movement planning tool.

Since 2018, Alexander has been working at Wabtec Corporation. Initially, they served as a Principal Software Architect, responsible for designing and providing high-performance real-time data transport mechanisms. Alexander also played a role in developing the TCOS core, which included classes and methods in Java, C, and C++. Currently, Alexander holds the position of Principal Software Engineer, focusing on coding complex development projects related to Positive Train Control.

Alexander Maromaty earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from Nassau Community College from 1975 to 1977. Later, they pursued a degree in Computer Science/Mathematics and obtained an A.S. degree from Nassau Community College, Sewanhaka H.S. from 1976 to 1978.
