Marc King

Marc King is an experienced metallurgist with a robust background in metallurgical engineering and technical sales. Currently serving as a Metallurgist and Quality Manager at Wabtec Corporation since June 2022, Marc previously worked as Technical Director - Technical Sales at The Nugent Sand Company, Inc., where responsibilities included providing technical support and researching mineral effects on iron casting processes. Prior roles include Technical Sales Manager at Globe Metallurgical Inc., Metallurgist at Hiler Industries, and Plant Manager at May Foundry and Machine Co., among others. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, further enhancing expertise developed since the start of a career in the metallurgical field in 1996.
