Peter Van Name has over a decade of experience in legal recruiting and talent management within prestigious law firms. Currently serving as the Manager of Legal Recruiting at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz since May 2022, Peter has previously held significant roles including the Director of Talent & Recruiting at Selendy Gay Elsberg PLLC and various positions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating the firm's Summer Associate Program and managing conflicts clearance for incoming attorneys. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Conflicts Analyst at Wilson Elser and a Legal Intern at Swarovski, following educational background in Political Science from Providence College.
