Dr Ouri Wolfson is currently the Richard and Loan Hill Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he directs the Mobile Information Systems Research Center, and the Ph.D. program in Computational Transportation Science. He is also an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He served as a consultant to Argonne National Laboratory, to the US Army Research Laboratories, to NASA, and to DARPA. Wolfson holds seven patents, and authored over 170 peer-reviewed publications. In 2001 he founded Mobitrac (www.mobitrac.com), is a high-tech, venture capital funded company, which was acquired in 2006.
