Michael Sheehan

Michael Sheehan is an experienced management professional with a strong background in healthcare and technology. Currently serving as Manager and Senior Advisor in the Portfolio Support Office at Waitematā District Health Board since December 2019, Michael previously contributed as Program Manager for the Leapfrog Programme at the same organization. Earlier roles include Senior Project Manager at Hawke's Bay District Health Board, where Michael managed a significant regional health informatics project, and Managing Consultant at Watership Group, leading diverse engagements across various sectors. Michael's experience also extends to independent directorship at Pulsecor, mentorship at Thought-Wired, and executive leadership at the Aphasia New Zealand Charitable Trust. With a foundation in new product development at Agfa New Zealand and technology leadership at Times Media Group, Michael holds an MBA (Hons) in International Business from Auckland University of Technology.
