Neil MacLeod

Neil MacLeod has worked in the insurance industry since 1997. Neil started as a Channel Care at Telus before joining the Insurance Institute of Ontario in 2006 as an In Class instructor. In 2018, they became the Vice President of Business Development at Insurego Inc. and was responsible for making insurance easy to understand and accessible. In 2020, they took on the role of Branch Manager at All Insurance Ontario Ltd and Director of Risk Management at Ai Insurance Organization. In 2022, they assumed the role of Head of P & C Insurance at Walnut Insurance.

Neil MacLeod received their Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University in 1997, majoring in Law. Neil then obtained their Canadian Risk Management Designation from the University of Toronto in 2011. In 2015, they completed the Get On Board Level 1 Governance Education Program from the Canadian Board Diversity Council/ Conseil canadien pour la diversité administrative. Neil also holds certifications in Commercial Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Canada (2021), Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), Associate of Canadian Surety Bonding (ACSB), and Canadian Risk Management (CRM). Lastly, Neil MacLeod obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University in 2015.
