Jon Hill

Jon Hill's work experience is as follows:

1. Warwick Investment Group (2019-Present): Jon works as an Operations Geologist at Warwick Investment Group.

2. JW Hill Geoscience LLC (2018-2019): Jon served as a Geologist Consultant for Apollo Exploration and later as an Operations Geologist at Hoss Geosciences. In this role, they maintained geologic interpretations for actively drilling wells in the unconventional STACK and SCOOP plays of Oklahoma. Jon effectively communicated expectations and priorities to project geologists and field personnel, as well as utilized geosteering techniques and software to optimize horizontal well-bore placement.

3. Chaparral Energy (2015-2018): Jon worked as a Geologist, providing Geologic duties to the Northern Extension of the STACK play in various counties in Oklahoma. Jon engaged in evaluations, well planning, log analysis, and reservoir mapping while collaborating with geophysicists, drilling and production personnel, and completions teams.

4. LINN Energy (2012-2015): Jon held two roles at LINN Energy. First, as a Contract Geologist, they supported acreage in the East Texas Basin and was part of a team that developed methods for determining high-priority areas with the greatest production potential. Jon also contributed to preparations for the sale of Granite Wash acreage. Later, as a Contract Petrophysicist, Jon provided petrophysical analysis for asset support and played a key role in drilling site location decisions. Jon also served as the Petrophysical Specialist for the Mayfield field in Oklahoma and supported the Shawnee play in Mayfield.

5. University of Oklahoma (2010-2013): Jon worked as a Lab Technician and Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma. Jon performed various laboratory and research functions, including X-ray diffraction analysis, BET specific surface area operations, and Kappabridge, AMS, and bulk susceptibility measurements and analysis.

Jon Hill has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology from the University of Oklahoma. Jon also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geology from the same institution.
