Maria Feeley serves as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel for Washington and Lee University since 2014 and is currently the Board Chair for Rosemont College. With extensive experience in higher education legal affairs, Feeley held pivotal roles such as Vice President and General Counsel at the University of Hartford and Chief Officer of the Division of Legal Affairs at Florida A&M University. Additional contributions include serving as a Commissioner for the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission and a Senior Legal Consultant for Freeh Group International Solutions. Feeley's legal career began with their role as a Partner at Pepper Hamilton LLP, where comprehensive legal counsel was provided to educational institutions on diverse issues. Maria Feeley holds a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law and a B.A. in Mathematics and History from Rosemont College.
