Stacy Kane has had a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Washington Leadership Academy, a charter high school in Washington D.C. In 2014, they served as Deputy Director for the White House Presidential Innovation Fellows program, which aimed to bring entrepreneurial and tech talent into the Federal Government. Prior to that, they worked as a Special Assistant/Program Manager for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, where they led the creation of the CFPB Technology & Innovation Fellows program. In 2010, Stacy served as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Secretary at the US Department of Homeland Security, where they led initiatives and authored briefs and speeches for senior officials. Additionally, they have held various positions in nonprofit organizations and legal internships, demonstrating their commitment to public service. Throughout their career, Stacy has shown leadership and a passion for making a positive impact.
Stacy Kane's education history begins with graduating from Sycamore High School. Afterward, they attended Vanderbilt University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human and Organizational Development and Sociology. Stacy then pursued a Master of Public Policy degree in Education Policy, also at Vanderbilt University. Later, Stacy attended Emory University School of Law, where they obtained their JD degree. Additionally, in 2017, they completed the ASU GSV Summit certification program at ASU GSV Summit.
