Michael Schutzler

Michael Schutzler is the CEO of WTIA. Prior to their current position, they served as a board member for the Washington Student Achievement Council from October 2016 to June 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the state's education and career training systems with the workforce needs of Washington's technology-driven economy. From February 2016 to August 2019, they were a partner at Social Venture Partners, where they worked to support and strengthen non-profits that are tackling our community's greatest challenges. Michael also served on the board of EDC of Seattle & King County from June 2014 to July 2018.

Michael Schutzler has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
