Samuel Getachew (he/him)

Samuel Getachew began his work experience as an Information Technology Devices Administrator at the Ministry of Finance, Ethiopia in April 2021. Samuel then worked as a Software Developer at Fineto IoT Products from September 2021 to April 2022. In December 2022, He joined Kifiya Financial Technology PLC as a Software Engineer. Currently, he hold the position of Senior Backend Developer at waterdrop®, starting in April 2023. Prior to his professional career, he had a role as a Software Developer for self-employment starting in June 2018.

Samuel Getachew attended Welkite University from 2013 to 2018, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, he completed "The Complete React Full-Stack Course" at Udemy in July 2021. Samuel also acquired the "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" certification from Google.
