Ykengia Velez

Ykengia Velez possesses extensive experience in property management, currently serving as a Community Manager at Waterton since February 2020, managing a 348-unit property in Katy, Texas. Previously, Ykengia held a Community Manager position at a 264-unit property in Stafford, Texas, after being promoted from Assistant Community Manager. In addition, Ykengia is the CEO of Velez Allure since March 2017. Prior roles at MAA included Leasing Manager, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing leasing, marketing, and customer service for an apartment community, and Assistant Property Manager. Experience also includes roles at BG Staffing and Ballantyne Country Club, with a solid foundation in leasing and staff management. Ykengia attended Central Piedmont Community College from 2014 to 2016.
