Talha Muslim 🧭

Talha Muslim has four years of work experience in the additive manufacturing sector. From 2023 to present, they have been working as an Applications Development Engineer at Wayland Additive. From 2019 to 2023, they were an Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Coşkunöz Holding where they used Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) to manufacture Aerospace demonstrator components and achieved porosity levels below 0.3%, minimized fusion gap lengths to below 100 microns, and achieved as-built densities greater than 99%. From 2018 to 2019, Talha was an Additive Manufacturing Intern at BTech Innovation A.Ş. where they decreased the knowledge gap of employees by conducting in-depth literature researches and giving presentations on topics including Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF), Electron Beam Melting (EBM), Heat treatments of Ti6AL4V alloys after L-PBF, Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) treatment conditions to reduce porosity after L-PBF, Lattice structures (strut-based designs/ minimal surface designs) for load-bearing characteristics, and Novel Methods to remove sintered Powder from lattice structures. Finally, from 2016 to 2018, they were an Intern at Turkish Technic.

Talha Muslim earned a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University between 2014 and 2019.
