Chad Goodyear

Chad Goodyear has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Chad started their career as a Lead Rollout Engineer at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP in 2008, where they helped oversee technology implementations. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Information Technology Support Analyst at the same company.

In 2010, Chad joined Dihedrals as a Developer/Technical Consultant, providing technical expertise and development services. Chad then transitioned to Aviva Investors in 2011, initially working as a Technical Lead/Analyst before moving into a role as a Technical Business Analyst. Chad continued at Aviva Investors until 2014, contributing to various projects and leading the technical aspects of business analysis.

After leaving Aviva Investors, Chad briefly worked at Amlin as a Technical Business Analyst before joining BlightAlert in 2015 as an iOS Developer. At BlightAlert, they developed iOS applications and contributed to the company's innovative technology solutions.

Chad then joined DNApal.me in 2019 as an iOS Developer, where they worked until 2020. In the same year, they worked at The App Experts as an iOS Developer, showcasing their expertise in mobile app development.

In 2020, Chad joined Apposing as an iOS Developer, working on projects for clients such as Karshare, Official Liverpool FC, Sony PlayStation GFQA, and FootAsylum. Chad utilized various architecture patterns, design patterns, and tools such as GraphQL, Lottie, SnapKit, Google Maps, and KeyChain to deliver quality mobile applications. Chad also demonstrated proficiency in source control management with GitHub and BitBucket, as well as testing and distribution platforms like Firebase and App Store Connect.

Most recently, Chad joined Waymap in 2021 as an iOS Developer. Chad is part of a small team that focuses on creating an accessibility first indoor navigation app, utilizing innovative technology to provide step-by-step audio directions without the need for GPS. Chad is dedicated to making a difference through their work and contributing to Waymap's world-leading technology.

Chad Goodyear completed their education at the University of Portsmouth. Chad earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems from 2000 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Chad Goodyear obtained a certification in Foundation in iOS App Development with Swift from the London App Brewery in November 2019.
