The Role:

We’re keen to hire an  experienced and motivated individual to join our journey in developing next-generation autonomous vehicles.
The Senior People Operations Associate is a pivotal role within our People team, focusing on delivering exceptional employee experiences from onboarding through offboarding. This role serves as an escalation point for all people-related inquiries, ensuring that all employees feel supported and valued throughout their journey with the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, rewards & benefits, projects & an escalation point for our people helpdesk ticketing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reward & Benefits: Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of employee rewards and benefits programs.
  • People help desk escalation: Have a good generalist knowledge of all things people and be able to speak confidently and answer when required.
  • Payroll: Responsible for submitting payroll on time and accurately.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of people processes and policies, aiming to enhance efficiency and the overall employee experience.
  • Projects: As and when required, this role will need to be able to work autonomously on larger projects from start to finish.

About you:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a HR or People Operations role.
  • Payroll experience. ideally have been responsible for payroll for a headcount of 100+ employees.
  • Experience in rolling out new benefits. From design/selection through to implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and familiarity with ticketing systems.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive work environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a Start-up company.
  • Strong knowledge of UK leave policies.
  • Experience working globally across distributed teams
