Spencer Garbs

Spencer Garbs has extensive work experience in operations and management roles. Spencer is currently serving as the Director of Operations at WB Industries MBE/DBE since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Plant Manager at SAF-HOLLAND Inc. from 2016 to 2019, where they were responsible for efficient and lean operations of two union plants with 450 employees. Before that, they held the position of Plant Manager at Lindsay Window & Door LLC from 2014 to 2016, overseeing all aspects of the MO plant. Spencer also worked at RTI International Metals from 2008 to 2014, where they served as a Project Engineer and later as a Production Manager. In these roles, they focused on optimizing industrial processes, increasing profitability, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Prior to that, they worked as a Production Manager at Intier Automotive from 1999 to 2008, where they successfully championed the redesign and implementation of an entire assembly plant.

Spencer Garbs earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology from 1993 to 1995. Before that, from 1990 to 1992, Garbs attended East Central College where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Pre-Engineering. Prior to college, Garbs attended St. Francis Borgia Regional High School, but no specific years or degrees were provided for this period.
