Gail Uncontrollable Wildfires Whiteman

Gail Uncontrollable Wildfires Whiteman is an accomplished academic and leader in sustainability and climate change. Currently serving as the Hoffmann Impact Professor for Accelerating Action on Nature & Climate and Professor at the University of Exeter Business School since July 2020, Whiteman also holds the position of Founding Executive Director at Climate Basecamp and Executive Director at Arctic Basecamp. With prior roles including Professor and Director of the Pentland Centre for Sustainability in Business at Lancaster University and a long tenure at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, Whiteman has significantly contributed to both research and education in sustainability. Additionally, Whiteman has experience in corporate social responsibility and brand management, alongside a PhD in Business focusing on Organizational Theory and Marketing from Queen's University.
